French Canyon

Lived in Illinois for nearly 20 years, and we finally made it to Starved Rock State Park and saw some of the most beautiful natural landscapes to be seen in the state.

How long of a drive is it to get there? I've never been there. This picture alone makes me want to go!

@jyokota we took "back roads" which amounted to suburbia and it was Friday with some construction, so about 3 hours. We then stayed in Geneva for the weekend, which added another hour and a half. It's beautiful and we want to go back, when it's a bit cooler. Be prepared for a lots of stairs!
