avert your eyes

I was looking for a hummingbird image but found this one instead! Known by a couple of common names (thanks wiki), such as the candy-striped leafhopper. What cool bugs (that I happened to catch in the act).
Incredible macro.

A fabulous shot, and yes, perfectly timed. I'd crop a little of the background off the bottom and the right to focus more on the leafhoppers.

Such clarity and focus on a brilliantly colored bugs -- and caught in a moment! Hmmm . . . thinking about what @falcon11 says. I wonder, though, if you might need all that space -- and even more, to show the idea of a surprising find?

@jyokota @falcon11 I I'd struggle with the crop - I liked the idea of the context, and liked the Vs and the curly bit for added geometry, hence ultimately deciding on this version. Maybe I'll try a closer crop and see what you think.
