Butterfly on Lilac bush

I shot this Tiger Swallowtail butterfly from my kitchen window. I had to shoot through a screen and glass so the detail isn't as sharp as I would have liked.

I love the Tiger Swallowtails. Them and the Zebra Swallowtails are my favorites. This is a beautiful photo.

Lovely. I shoot thru glass sometimes and I've found if I angle my camera so I'm not straight on the glass it often gives me a better shot - most times anyway :-)
