Sea Oats by vernabeth

Sea Oats

Sea Oats grass, as the name implies, is salt water tolerant and often found near coastlines and bodies of water. Sea oats occurs on sand dunes along the Atlantic coast from Virginia to Florida and around the Gulf to eastern Mexico, and in the northern West Indies.
Wild sea oats is protected along the seacoast of the Southern states not because it is endangered or threatened, but because it performs a valuable ecological service by stabilizing sand dunes.
I love your composition and framing of this lovely peaceful shot.
