Historic Bunkers

This is one of many historic bunkers left from when this area of Chattanooga was a facility for making ammunition during WWII. It is now part of a large nature park called Enterprise South.

Interesting place, worth a visit. We have many rock-hewn shelters where people could shelter during the many air raid we had in WWII. There are also flour mills and ammunition depots deep in the ground .
