Ross Landing by vernabeth

Ross Landing

John Ross was a Cherokee Indian Chief who started a trading post in what later became Chattanooga, Tennessee. Although Ross was mostly Scottish and only 1/8th Cherokee he took his Indian roots very seriously and became the champion for the tribe. Ross Landing, the original name for Chattanooga, is located on the Tennessee river.
