That fence is so intriguing and interesting. They chose to go behind the tree instead of including it in the pasture, they must have had a reason. Nicely composed. Fav! I wish you could smell the rose that I bought, it is the best that I have found/smelled in at least probably 35 years. They have managed to take the smell out of most of them.
Our early pioneers did it so tough. I often wonder about the lives of women in these times. Here in Australia they must have been so lonely in their isolation. Was it the same on the frontier?
