Guess What's Growing Here

Here a clue. I'm a bit ashamed to admit it but this grew just as you see in the Food freshener section of my refrigerator. You can tell, I don't eat at home often .

@grannysue Linda, you got it right. It was a head of cabbage that I had planned to use for slaw.

Whatever it is, it is pretty. I see above that it is cabbage. I wouldn't have guessed that.

@vernabeth I came by my conclusion because the blooms were starting to look like an invasive weed that has been spreading like wildfire in Texas. The weed is called a Bastard Cabbage. Called that because it resembles the cabbage bloom and chokes out all the good wildflowers, I suppose The proper scientific name of it is Rapistrum rugosum.
