So thankful to have this man as my father. As I get older, I see the parents of my friends and family saying goodbye to their parents. I don't let a day go by without realizing how blessed I am that they are still healthy and here with us. But I know that when that day comes, it won't be a forever goodbye...I will see them both again in heaven. My parents both taught us the necessity to become followers of Christ and they both have been examples to follow as we grew in our faith.
Fantastic portrait and words, Vicki. You are so lucky and I ask you to treasure them. Unfortunately mine are both gone and life is half-empty without the comfort of knowing that they are there. But while they were here, I was on a daily contact with them.
