I found a little hazelnut tree coming up in my flowers today. I didn't want a tree growing there so I pulled it up and along with the roots came the nut that it grew from. I posted a shot of the bloom that makes this nut last March if you want to see it. I will post a shot of the nuts on the tree soon.

@rmkgreene@anndee I wanted to show the whole thing and didn't want my hand, so after some consideration, I tied a string to it and hung it from a hook, then cropped it out once I got my shot. thanks for your comments
Vicki, I've had this happen to me in a link before, too - edit your link and remove the "> at the end and all should be well. . .that's what's supposed to happen through the html when you capture the whole link from the original picture but it often seems to go wrong just like this when you a link in your own commentary. Give it a try! You won't lose any of these comments, either! ;->
