I didn't take this one, but am posting it to mark the day's excitement. My son took this on his phone and sent it via Facebook. He and my husband just finished watching the race. His words..."just watched Galen Rupp take Silver in the 10,000! First US medal in this since 1964. Epic race!!!!! Mo Farah from UK gold. The place was wild." Galen Rupp is a runner from Oregon that my son and husband have been following for years, so it is a pretty exciting day for them to see it!
Oh, good for you for sharing with us, Vicki. . .I bet they are having a BLAST!! What a special event for them to get to see. . .and you most obviously need this in your album - what a memory!
Your runner was amazing Vicki, I thought he was going to actually win at one point, Harry & I were really impressed with him!! So nice that he & Mo were friends too & trained together.
