This fungus was huge! The leaves below it are a little bigger than my hand. It reminded me so much of something I would have seen on Sesame Street. I kept waiting for it to talk to me, but it kept silent...each of the little hairs on it had a drop of moisture falling off.
@ellimae yes, I am sure that somebody out there has a proper name for it...probably could even cook it up into something good...but me...I will be happy just that I found it and got to shoot it
