Our birthday season has officially begun. Starting with daughter-in-love's, Rachel's birthday at the end of October, then grandsons Joshua & Josiah, grand niece Meri, my Mom and nephew Matt, daughter-in-love Abby, grand niece Ellie, son John jr, husband John sr, my Dad, grand daughter Emily, son-in-love Ariel, nephew David, Alan, grandson Gabriel, grand daughter Hannah, ending with daughterJessi at the end of Feb. It seems we have one continual birthday cake going! There is hardly time to sneak in Thanksgiving and Christmas!
My mother makes all of the great grandkids birthday cakes with whatever they request as the theme.

@mstipe when I first started learning Spanish, I connected with a woman wanting to practice English. She always insisted on saying in-loves...for some reason that is what she heard and that is what stuck even when I corrected her. Finally she explained that if they are connected to you, it must be because of love and it was easier for her to remember it that way, even if it sounded wrong. I realized that she was right! and it did make more sense. So I just started saying it that way too.
I really like how you call your in-laws, in loves. That's really sweet.
