Oh My Goodness! I can't believe this little guy turned two today! He really loves music, they have him in a little weekly music class with songs, instruments and dancing. But he is extra fascinated by drums at church, even imitating he is using the sticks while he watches. So today, we took him out and bought him his own set! He is in heaven! Believe it or not, he has already figured it out how to play them softly and he has a real beat and can even use his hands independently on the different drums. I know I sound like a Grandma, but I do think he may have a gift. Seriously! We did get his parents permission before we bought them, but I had a little stroke of guilt as I left my daughter's house tonight.
ha ha that's funny about the guilt leaving the drums at their house! But I believe he might have a gift....sounds like it! I think you did a good thing here. very cute picture!
@lyno well, we will see...she gave me permission, as long as I didn't get upset if I found them in the garage now and then LOL! She and I really do see something special in his understanding of music and rhythm.
Adorable capture, Vicki. My nephew (he's around 36 years now) is one of Malta's current best drummers but he emigrated to Australia. He was awed by drums since he was a little kid. So don't be surprised if this fascination with drums continues throughout his life.
A super cute and sweet pic. of a lovely boy.
