This is the falls that we hiked to the day I broke my ankle. After I shot these, we hiked on over to the top of this falls, and crossed that bridge back there to get some shots of the creek behind it. Once we got back over the bridge and headed down, I slipped on loose gravel and twisted my ankle as I went down. I can still hear the sound of it.
Yee-ouch! How awful. You did get an "awfullyl" nice shot, though! And hopefully others. Hope you're healing well! I'd love to get to these falls one day.
Beautiful spot and so sorry to hear re your fall. I know what that's like...years ago a broken leg while backpacking and had to come out on the horse of a forest ranger and a year ago a fall on a hike at Zion that took us a couple of hours for me to make it back out and cut our long awaited trip short by a week...made it back to redo the trip this spring though.
