Baby Flamingo

Another first for me was to see a BABY flamingo. They have an excellent flamingo pond at the San Diego zoo. You can get so close to see and shoot them! I loved it!

My wife and I always wanted to travel to San Diego to see the zoo after watching Jack Hannah on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. I guess it is still on our bucket list!

We have baby flamingoes in our tiny little zoo. They're so cute nestled up inside their parent's feathers. I can't get this close though! Love it!

A lovely capture of this wonderful flamingo baby . Never have seen one in real before.
The heat is a protected nature area (half an hour drive) you can visit and have a walk on. I often go there taken pic.`s of it and of fungus.
