I baked all my Christmas cookies today. Now to box them up to give them away. I keep some of each for when we have guests, but most of them I like to take to elderly friends so that they have some treats to eat before Christmas. Oh, and THANKS for putting my Alpine Glow on PP!!
I'm getting hungry just looking at all your goodies..... You them all in ONE day? It's a beautiful display..... Sounds like you are a cooking/baking enthusiast as well as a photography one, for sure!
Wow, these look delicious and what a nice thing to do. The two plates of white cookies, are they rolled in powder sugar and maybe have walnuts or pecans in them? I made them with my husbands Mom years ago when she was alive, then she made a jar for me every Christmas as I was the only one that liked them until she could no longer make them. I lost the recipe and have been looking for the recipe or one close to it. She rolled them in balls and I had them in another shape from my husbands work this time of the year last year the year before and they taste the same but had him ask two years in a row for the recipe and never got it. I want to say they are butter pecan but we put walnuts in them. Not hard, they pretty much melt in your mouth. I love your photo. A lot of love went into these cookies.
What a festive and delicious looking display. It would take me a week to bake all those cookies! That's really a nice gesture. Those look like snowball cookies on the far left....my favorite. @darsphotos If those are snowball cookies I have 2 recipes. I make these every Christmas and would be happy to share my recipe.
Beautiful shot of your very lovely and incredibly yummy looking cookies. I think that's wonderful you give most of them away. World needs more people like you.
Oh great. I'm home late from work, ravenous and you have plates of cookies. Thanks a lot.
Great you take to seniors. I'm sure they're delighted with the cookies and a visit.
