1. B&W

Here’s my challenge of the day,
“Black & White” I hear you say,
“Why not” is my retort,
If it fails I will abort.
Well it’s a grey day and couldn’t find inspiration for poetry (today’s word). So thought that I would set the camera to monochrome.
Any thoughts, comments and suggestions appreciated.
I have titled this 1. B&W as there maybe more.

Actually, this is quite nice in B&W and it is a nice composition with the position of the man and the leading lines. But I will now start quoting Proverbs 28 to go with the poetry and my steadfast reason for avoiding the pastime of running (shudders at the thought): "The wicked run when no-one is chasing them." So I shall grab another coffee and cake and think myself into piety ;) LOL!!

Sometimes B&W works better than color. That might be the case here too. I like the tunnel effect and the details in the trees/branches.

Beautiful b&w. Love how the runner really stands out in that sharp white shirt. February is usually a b&w month. We post b&w every day except Feb 14 when we include a splash of red.
