WoW, that’s an oldie ☺️ All the women in my family from my father’s side got a golden coin of queen Wilhelmina on a necklace around their neck, a “ Willemientje” ( term of endearment)
@momamo Wow! A great big thanks for sharing that! Is it specific of your family, or a typical Dutch thing to do? ... This coin of Queen Wilhelmina was in my grandparents' collection of foreign coins, and we actualy have no idea how my grand-parents got those coins - probably from friends who traveled. They always seem very mysterious to me and it's so extraordinary to have someone know something about them - I picked it because of the challenge word "portrait", and had no idea I would get such interesting reaction! Thanks again!
