I like the bleakness of this shot. It really makes the tree standout in the snow. Thanks for the follow Chris, it will be great to see what's happening in your part of our country. :)

@novab Thanks. I was worried that the snow would look like sand. I have been in search of this image for a long time. Not sure I am 100% happy with the result, probably because I have dreamt of this image for so long. But that's okay it will give me something to keep striving for.

I like this shot too. Perhaps a more dramatic sky may have made you like it more?

@mandygravil I did wonder about that. I did adjust the dehaze and this brought out more blue in the image. I think what I would have liked is perhaps more the golden light of a setting sun.

The composition is on point here. I second a more dramatic sky - perhaps by adding a photo filter or increase the exposure in the post work?

@eliasbratlie I did try a filter to warm up the image but I found it took away from the feeling of winter. But I do agree that a more interesting or dramatic sky would help.
