My gift for Mother's Day from Edward along with a little homemade box full of chocolates. He had brought his present home with him on Saturday when I picked him up from work. He was told to hide it & give it to mum in the morning with a cuddle & a kiss. So we got home, Ed headed to his room & come back into the kitchen & told daddy (in front of me) where he had it in his room. When morning came, he woke up & as we were deciding what to have for breakfast, he asked 'Can I give you your present now, mum?' Out he came with a plastic bag full of these little treasures made by him. And I got a cuddle & kiss as well
These are my hands
as small as they may be
Placed here so carefully into a tree
To show you someday that I'll be all grown
But you'll have the memories
And these handprints
To remind you of me
