Sir Isaac Newton 1643 - 1727. by wendyfrost

Sir Isaac Newton 1643 - 1727.

My daughter took me to visit my elderly parents yesterday age 92 and 94 and still in fairly good health for their age. Isaac Newton lived near to Grantham and went to school at the Kings School in Grantham. His statue dominates the town centre looking over everyone as they pass by. When I was a child he looked a verdigris colour but now he is spruced up and looking very smart. Taken through the car window as we passed.
Isaac Newton was one of the greatest scientists and mathematician that ever lived and he discovered the law of gravity by watching an apple fall off a tree.
Really great shot from the car!

great shot and beautiful surroundings. he was a great man. as I understand it, he was both very much right and very much wrong, but without him we wouldn't have the science and understanding we have today.
