Teeny Tiny Ladybird. by wendyfrost

Teeny Tiny Ladybird.

I found a tiny ladybird on the bins yesterday I fetched a flower to put it on and dropped some water droplets near to it which it seemed to be drinking. After photographing it I placed it an evergreen bush that is in a warm corner of the garden. I hope it can survive these freezing temperatures.
I hope you told him it was too early!! I think a warm protected area does bring them out. Did you know they have some kind of antifreeze inside them which helps them survive? Still its a good sign of Spring and great to see.
