Wax Flower,

My Wax flower plant or Hoya as it is known is starting to flower for the first time. It was a gift from my brother two years ago for my birthday. The beautiful clusters of flowers look they are made of wax.

I'm glad they have begun to flower. It does look like they are made from wax. Thanks for your comment on The Bell at Stilton. Sadly it posted before I had written the text! We didn't actually stop there for lunch, but maybe next time!

Great detail and texture! (My mother had a Hoya plant, which she nurtured for years. I recall that it had quite a strong scent at night.)
