A lovely day again and I noticed a Comma butterfly fluttering over my celandine patch I knew I wouldn't be able to get down the doorstep before it flew away and so I took it with the long lens that was already on my camera from last week from inside the open patio door.
This is perfect, Wendy! The outspread wings show us the full beauty of the butterfly, and your shot is so pretty with the yellow and green in the foreground and the sunlit grey in the background. Sometimes our best shots are by accident, or are not as we planned. Fav!
