The Lure of Lavender.

My two lavender bushes were alive with busy bees collecting pollen. I am surprised at the abundance of flowers on them as we only recently cut off last years dead flowers.

Nice close-up! Lavender seems to be the kind of plant that's hardy and grows rapidly. And the bees love the clusters in front of our office building.
