October word. Opal. Memories of Mexico

I bought this gem whilst on holiday in Mexico 15 years ago .The beach vendors were a bit of a nuisance but they did have some beautiful jewellery for sale. I was told this was an Opal but I have never been sure but I think it is beautiful and everyone admires it when I am wearing it.
