Our lady of the Rocks

A beautiful church in a fabulous location…. I almost forgot to upload this one as I was struggling with a connection… the story behind this church was really interesting

@ankers70 You can Google the full story but it’s in Perast in the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro but essentially it was an apparition that sailors saw on a rock of our lady and she was said to bring safety and healing to the sailors… there are many tributes of thanks in the church… but it was created on a rock which is added to each year giving thanks to our lady… it was absolutely amazing inside
