Blake Pier

Blake Pier is a public pier at Stanley. The pier was originally built in 1900 at the north of Hong Kong Island. Due to the Central Reclamation Project in, it was demolished in 1965, preserved and finally relocated in the south of Hong Kong Island beside the Murray House in 2007.
some interesting little craft in the water too

Excellent preservation work - that’s quite a job, relocating the pier. Interesting shot and narrative. Lovely place to park off for a while and watch the comings and goings of people and boats. Those big boulders are quite something - makes for a nice little bay for the smaller boats. What are those palette-like rafts tied at the end of some of the boats used for?
