This is the Abbey Mountecassino. Founded around 529 A.D., it was destroyed during WW II but totally rebuilt by the Italians.
What a beautiful building - so sad to hear that it stood for so many years only to be destroyed in the war. Awful. But lovely to have it rebuilt. :) Great photo!
