Castle Pfalz (or Burg Pfalzgrafenstein)

254-365
We started our road trip today and drove through Kaub again. It is known for the Castle Pfalz, which was built in 1326 by King Ludwig of Bavaria as a toll station and for better control of the shipping traffic on the Rhine. It is situated on a rock in the middle of the Rhine.
Wow... What a cute building. It's amazing it survived so long.
