narrow-leaved everlasting pea

Jennifer and I stopped on the corner of Asbury and 38th Streets to take pictures of these today. They are much smaller than the wild sweet peas and the color is a lighter pink, almost a little bit brownish. They only grow on one corner of the intersection with Queen Anne's lace and bird's foot trefoil. I've never seen them growing any place other than this one corner. These little tiny grasshoppers were jumping all around. I didn't notice that one had crawled up onto the bud in the corner until I got home and discovered it in the picture. This tiny guy was less than a half inch long. Somehow grasshopper are really sweet and cute when they are tiny and little bit scary when they are big and jumping near you.
