My friend Marianne and I spent most of the afternoon eating lunch at Panera and working on the Cabin Branch raffle quilt. Thus is a close-up of one of the blocks. The center section is all red and white. The border will have lots of flowers. Marianne brought me some basil from her garden and after dinner I was going to make some blueberry-plum-basil jam but I didn't have enough blueberries so Lily and Jack and I watched "Swindle" instead. I read the book over the summer and loved it but the movie was just okay. Still the three of us haven't watched a movie together for awhile so it was a nice night.
