The vacuum cleaner has returned from her spa vacation at the repair shop. New belt, new bag, new gasket . . . she looks pretty good for her age, don't you think? Her front emblem (which reads, "Dual Sanitronic" . . . wonder what that means?) is a little crooked, and I don't even want to want to know why my father-in-law taped that empty package of sewing machine needles to her top, but she always looks beautiful after a visit to Quality Vacuums. I didn't want her to feel like she had to jump right back into cleaning, so I let her ride around in the car with me today. I'm sure she enjoyed watching the squirrels from the back seat.
