One of my favorite students is having a tough time. He loved "Diary of a Worm" when we read it in the spring. He had already read "Diary of a Fly" and he was sure there must be a "Diary of a Spider" because "there is a worm, a fly, and a spider in each book." I found a copy and gave it to him. I took his picture because he was worried that I would forget him (not possible). This picture makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time.
