This summer I fell in love with a book called "World of Birds" by Kim Kurki. For about 10 years she wrote a page in the National Wildlife Federarion's magazine "Your Big Backyard." After skulking around the internet I found some of them on eBay . . . and now I'm the proud owner of 63 issues. They arrived this week and every day I read a few. These are two of my favorites.
