I know it looks like I'm choking the duck but I swear I was just gently stroking her neck, then she fell asleep and her head flopped over. Really. See she's fine in the bottom picture.
@margonaut Aren't they cute?!! My daughter wishes they belonged to us! One of the autism classes at my school is raising them. I think there are 10 all together, but there are only 5 in the bag here. The one little duck is the most interesting greenish-brown. I've got a duck quilt all planned out -- just need time to make it!
@laurielizard I don't know that book but I will go look for it in the library tomorrow -- I've been collecting duck books! These ducks belong to the autism room, but it's right around the corner from mine, so I can visit them anytime I want.
