First book club night. These ladies don't mess around. Dark chocolate squares with honey and blue cheese. Mediterranean seven-later dip with pita chips. Cucumber slices with salmon. Potato chips drizzled with caramel and melted chocolate. I might be kicked out after my turn to host. The book was "Faith" by Jennifer Haight. Lots to talk about.
@laurielizard I'm Catholic so I was worried there would be some Catholic-bashing at the meeting (the book is about the priest sex scandal), but I thought the book was really good and there was definitely a lot to talk about. I'd love to hear what you think. I'm reading "The Handsome Man's DeLuxe Cafe" right now -- very light and so much fun if you like The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series.
