My part of Virginia is sadly lacking in several things, one if which is family-owned, hand-made candy shops. In Erie, Pennsylvania, where I grew up, there are many such establishments, which probably isn't good for me but I don't really care. The only place in my area to get good candy is BR Frozen Custard but it's not really near any places I go and a few years ago they stopped selling candy so I kind of forgot about it. But tonight, after our third trip to the eye doctor in the last 7 days, my daughter wanted Five Guys and I remembered that the candy place was right next door so I said yes. I may go there again in 3 to 5 days when I have to go back to the eye doctor to pick up Lily's contacts.
