They are lucky to have you at the school. I had a first grader want to give me a valentine, so he pulled out one given to him by a classmate, cross off the previous to and from, fill it in with my name and his, and proudly give it to me!
@laurielizard I love that story! I didn't get any valentines from my students this year. I've been testing for two weeks so I haven't taken my regular groups. We were going to do a valentine project the Tuesday after Presidents' Day, but we only had one day of school last week!
