I hate when all the fun things happen on one day . . . in the afternoon we went to the Hirshorn Museum and made surreal art with huge magnets. Then to an urban Walmart that had an escalator for the shopping carts. (Let me clarify that Walmart was not our actual destination -- it was next to the Smash Burger where we ate dinner. When we saw the escalator we had to go in and buy something do we could use it.) And last to the light show at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna. The day ended with Nick and Jack making peanut butter blossoms at midnight while I did laundry and packed the car for our trip tomorrow.
