murder is her hobby

Nutshell crime scene studies by Frances Glessner Lee at the Renwick Gallery. Next to this diorama, called “The Kitchen,” was a board with post-it notes that invited visitors to write their thoughts on what happened. This was one of my favorites — partly because my mother has her garage door stuffed with paper just like the one in this scene (all last week when we were visiting, every time we tried to open the door all the pieces of newspaper would come flying out).
you went! And you know that the killer didn't come through that door.

@margonaut I think the husband did it and then climbed out through the window! I wish you could have seen the teeny tiny quilts and the itty bitty knitting that were in a couple of them — amazing! And just listening to the conversations around the rooms was really fun (hard to believe something so gruesome could be “fun,” but it really was a great exhibit).
