Took my first grade class outside to practice using the Kindles to take pictures. They are studying plants (my favorite unit!). This little guy is usually hell on wheels — first time he’s sat still all year. He looks like a professional photographer here.
@margonaut I have 28 for use in the library, although I actually didn’t know we had a set until last week. For this activity each student got their own Kindle. Our PTA is raising money to have 1:1 Kindles in grades K-2. I definitely need to figure out some cool things to do with them next year.
