We really like the art of Joseph Plavcan, who was from Erie. Two galleries were exhibiting his paintings (his is on the left) and the paintings of some of his students. The photo really doesn’t do it justice.
@margonaut I wish we could afford to buy one — the least expensive was $1,500. Not bad for art, but too much for me! My son read an article recently about someone who found one at an estate sale and paid like $5. Sigh.
