For the last five months I’ve been picking the fabric for the quilt shop’s monthly block club. Then I cut them all out and package them up. This club started last May, so it’s almost finished. There are two color ways — a black and orange version and a turquoise and orange version. Many members of the club cannot remember which color they started out with so every month is a little adventure.
ha ha! If they can't remember, then they haven't been working on it, have they? I've never done a BOM, but thought you had to bring back the finished block from the previous month in order to get the next one.
@margonaut hmmm. That may have helped us with our BOM. I don’t think any of us have ever participated in one before, although I did design one for my guild years ago. Now that I think about it, if I recall correctly, the patterns were free, but if you turned in the previous block you got something (a little piece of fabric or some buttons) to make the next block.
