dew drops . . . or not

At watercolor class tonight we were supposed to paint dew drops. The instructor let us practice on her sample painting — Melissa’s is the best one (on the left) — but these are the best leaves I’ve painted so far, so I was afraid to risk it.

A watercolor class sounds like so much fun! Did you do the one on the right? I think they're both pretty doggone amazing.

@margonaut Haha — the instructor’s leaf is on the right — she let us practice on hers. Watercolor is not my forte, but I find it relaxing to slosh paint around. We go to this class a four or five times a year. This is definitely the best thing I’ve painted so far — I didn’t want to ruin it with the dew!
