@eudora Definitely milkweed if you want monarchs, but you have to make sure you get the native kind, which might be hard to find. Our school has a butterfly garden and the parent who takes care of it has been raising some monarch (and other) caterpillars. This one is in her little terrarium, which she sometimes brings to school for the kids to see. I’d love to find one of the green chrysalises in nature, but no luck so far!
