Packages from my secret wingman (thank goodness she came through as we are almost out of chocolate over here) and my mom. My mom always gives me a Susan Branch calendar for Christmas but she didn’t mail it until this week. The April quote is very apt for my mom — “pick tiny bouquets of flowers for you kitchen counter.” She always has little bouquets all over the house. Unfortunately she usually picks the flowers from other peoples yards but we can’t really stop her from doing that — or from going to the post office during a pandemic.
