It’s been too cold at night to sit out on Melissa’s porch so we tried the library after school. The idea was that we would have tea and some peach bread I found in my freezer from the summer, cut out paper snowflakes and NOT talk about school. Apparently we both forgot that we can’t use the teacher’s lounge (where the microwave and hot water are) because it’s been turned into the isolation room. We forgot to get out the bread. Melissa cut out first grade math cards. We kept the “school talk” to a minimum (and didn’t rant). I cut out snowflakes.
