feast day of our lady of guadalupe

I made this quilt for a book my friend Shannon Shirley wrote a few years ago. This is the first time I’ve had her hanging up at the right time.

@eudora That’s true. Years ago I saw some folk art paintings of saints that were painted by a nun. They were very whimsical with lots of bright colors. I don’t remember what her name was but I was inspired by her art when I made this. I couldn’t afford one of her paintings — but I really wanted one!
